- We cannot recover your keys. Not your master key, not your passphrase, not your funds. There is no reset, no support ticket, no backdoor. If you lose your backup, the funds are gone permanently.
- Transactions are irreversible. BTX sends cannot be cancelled, reversed or refunded by anyone, including us. Check the address before you send.
- The software is provided as is. It is offered free and without warranty. You use it at your own risk.
1.Who we are
BTX PQ wallet ("the app") is published by Bonuz Technology DMCC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Using the app means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2.What the app is
The app is a self-custodial desktop wallet for BTX. It generates and stores cryptographic keys on your own device, displays balances read from public blockchain data, and signs transactions you authorise.
We are not a bank, exchange, broker, custodian or money transmitter. We never take possession of your funds, never hold your keys, and cannot move, freeze or restore your BTX.
3.Your keys and your backups
You are solely responsible for your 64 character master key, your passphrase, your recovery files and any device that holds them.
- Anyone who obtains your master key controls your funds completely.
- If you lose it and have no backup, the funds cannot be recovered by any means. This is a property of the cryptography, not a policy we could change.
- Keep at least one backup offline, and test that you can read it.
4.Transactions are final
A broadcast BTX transaction is irreversible. Sending to a wrong or malicious address, or being deceived into sending, results in permanent loss. The app warns where it can and refuses addresses it cannot prove are valid mainnet addresses, but the final check is yours.
5.The app runs on mainnet
Sends move real BTX with real value. There is no practice mode. The app supports
transparent btx1z funds only.
6.No financial advice
Nothing in the app or on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. We do not recommend buying, selling or holding any asset. Cryptocurrency values can fall to zero. Decisions about your money are yours alone, and you may want professional advice.
7.Third-party services
To show balances and broadcast transactions the app talks to blockchain servers. Some are operated by us, some by the community, and you may point the app at your own. We do not control servers we do not run, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or conduct. What is sent to them is described in the privacy policy.
8.Artifacts are a preview
Support for BTX artifacts, the relics and NFTs an address can carry, is experimental. Whether artifacts remain on the base chain depends on the BTX core team and the health of the network. This feature may change or be removed, and artifacts are not an investment.
9.Independence
The app is an independent project. It is not produced or endorsed by the BTX core team, and it is not affiliated with Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the app or its content and provides no support for it.
10.Licence
You may install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal or business use, free of charge. You may not sell it as your own, remove or alter its notices, or present a modified build as the official one.
11.No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any defect will be corrected.
12.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of funds, loss of keys, loss of data, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13.Your responsibilities
- Use the app only where it is lawful for you to do so, and comply with the laws that apply to you.
- Download the app only from pq-wallet.com or the Mac App Store, and verify the published SHA-256 where one is given.
- Keep your operating system and the app reasonably up to date.
14.Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes will be noted in the changelog. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes consumer protections you have where you live.
